Literacy NY is hosting the second annual Stop Reading Challenge initiative, starting now and lasting through September, which is typically a month celebrating and publicizing adult and family literacy. This year, there will be onsite and online events to raise awareness about adult literacy.

Lifting One Voice for Literacy & Adult Education


NYACCE advocates on the behalf of adult continuing and community education programs. Programs work hard to make changes in services delivery and to offer a wide range of supports to New Yorkers.
What we have learned is the power of lifting One Voice for literacy and adult education in New York State is critical to advocating for our students and programs all across the state. To accomplish this goal - we need your help!
Calling on all Adult Program Managers: To improve our efforts, we are seeking to learn more about all adult education programs available across New York State. Regardless if your program is a member of NYACCE or not, please take a minute to complete this very short form. Your information will not be shared or sold. It is purely for advocacy purposes so we can keep you apprised of issues affecting adult education in New York State.
